A VERY RARE and VERY FINELY modelled ORIGINAL PAIR of Sevres biscuit porcel

A VERY RARE and VERY FINELY modelled ORIGINAL PAIR of Sevres biscuit porcelain figure groups of children. Dated to 1754. Both pieces fully marked with the Sevres interlaced incised marks and the date letter 'B' in between.Modelled after Boucher. There is something symbolic about these, as there are 2 girls and one boy on one, and 2 boys and one girl on the other. Each seems to have a sleeping girl and boy. Note how beautifully that bending boy is modelled. Really detailed.

BOTH OF THESE INCREDABLY VULNERABLE PIECES HAVE REMAINED IN ALMOST PREFECT CONDITION. To be 100% accurate. On the 2 girls group, there is only a tiny piece restuck on the end of her piece of cloth. The 2 boys group. End of fingers of one hand missing. These very minor faults are not seen unless looked at VERY closely. NO RESTORATION TO EITHER GROUP. AMAZING CONSIDERING AGE.
