An EXTREMELY FINE Meissen figure of a Seated man smoking a pipe modelled by J.J.Kandler, C.1745. WONDERFULLY FINELY modelled. and FULL OF MOVEMENT.

CONDITION. SUPERB, WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS AND NO RESTORATIONS.

Fully marked to the underside of the base with the tiny blue crossed swords mark. Quite an unusual place for the mark, as it is usually to the rear of the base at the back of figures.

Good size at 5 in. high.
