A SUPERB early Meissen COFFEEPOT and ORIGINAL COVER, with Heroldt harbour scenes C.1740. Just WONDERFUL in real life, which I hope you may be able to see in my photos. These very rare early lids are also highly sough after, and in my opinion worth a few hundred on their own. Note the early Meissen feint blue crossed swords mark to underside of base, typical of pieces before C.1760.

CONDITION:- EXCELLENT CONSIDERING 280 years old. NO CHIPS, CRACKS AND NO RESTORATIONS. TO BE VERY PICKY, THERE ARE SOME NORMAL TINY CHIPS TO THE FINIAL PETALS. A VERY LARGE PIECE AT 9 INS HIGH.
