An EXTREMELY RARE AND EARLY Meissen teacaddy, C.1735/40. This is a VERY RARE pattern. I know it has a special name, but I cannot remember it. Marked to the underside with the early crossed swords mark to the underside of the base, together with a Formers mark.

SUPERB CONDITION, with a minute flake to the base rim only. If you look closely, then you will see that it very slightly leans to one side in the firing. VERY CHARMING, and also confirms such an early piece.
